Business Platform Design & Development
An interactive and gamified app connecting students in African countries with mentors globally through video-based Q&A.
About
BloomBox aims to enhance educational opportunities by setting up solar-powered computer labs in African countries. Students use the app to record video questions, which are sent through the platform to University students in North America, who act as mentors or "Bloombassadors"
We are problem solvers
We solve complex problems through custom software and app development by optimizing business processes, driving innovation, and helping clients achieve their goals with tailored solutions.
Challenge
Our client needed a platform for students to easily record and upload video questions, and for mentors to efficiently respond. Additionally, they wanted to incorporate gamification to motivate mentor participation.
Solution
We developed an intuitive app where students can upload video questions and Bloombassadors can provide answers. The app features a gamified system where mentors earn points and rewards for their interactions, fostering engagement and support.
The Essential Process
Planning
Strategizing goals, requirements, and timelines to guide development efforts effectively and align stakeholders toward a common vision.
Code
Implementing logical, efficient, and maintainable software solutions based on design specifications using programming languages and best practices.
Wireframing
Creating skeletal outlines of interfaces to visualize layout, functionality, and user flow before advancing to detailed design and development.
Testing
Assessing software functionality, performance, and reliability through systematic examination to identify and resolve defects before deployment.
Design
Crafting aesthetic, intuitive, and functional user interfaces that enhance user experience and fulfill project objectives with creativity and precision.
Deployment
Releasing to production environments, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and no disruption to users and operations.
"..we’ve found that the value they deliver is significantly above everyone else that we deal with"
