A web-based customer portal to manage and automate the complex selection and assembly of Insulation Snakes’ products.
Insulation Snakes manufactures an extensive line of removable, reusable, weatherproof insulation products. Manufacturing takes place in Breton, Alberta and in Billings, Montana. Products are sold through distributors in both Canada and the United States.

Challenge
Each of Insulation Snakes’s customers has very unique needs, and no two orders are ever the same. Fulfilling these orders manually had become a time-consuming and laborious process. Insulation Snakes needed a system to automate customer orders and manage product fulfillment.
Solution
We developed a web application that allows Users to create a bill of materials by selecting piping system types (categories such as pipe, fittings, flanges, union, valves etc), then specify the details of that category such as size and quantity of that specific component. The program then suggests recommended product options that correspond with the entered data. The User can repeat this process as many times as needed to satisfy their project needs.
