A few simple steps
How it works
- Start with onboarding, an approval process, a service workflow or a system map.
- Name the steps and connect them. Use the guided editor to change the order, add decisions and show loops.
- Check the diagram and its text outline. Download an image or PDF to share, and save JSON to reopen the full editable state.
Start with an example
The workspace includes fictional examples you can replace with your own details:
- onboarding
- approval
- service
- systems
Choosing another example asks before replacing your work. Save a JSON copy first if you want to keep it.
What to know before you use the result
- The diagram shows the process you describe. It does not discover your systems, validate business policy or run the workflow.
- Guided mode keeps an editable graph. Source-only mode accepts a restricted Mermaid flowchart or sequence diagram. Switching modes requires confirmation and preserves your last guided graph.
- Arbitrary Mermaid code cannot be converted back into a guided graph. Returning to the saved graph discards source-only changes after confirmation.
- Links, remote images, HTML labels, configuration directives and custom styles are blocked. Exports use the current valid render; invalid or pending edits disable exports.
Keep your original files. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser or another person using this device.
Good to know
Are loops allowed?
Yes. A process may return to an earlier step, for example when an approval needs more information. Project task dependencies use different rules and cannot contain cycles.
Can I reopen the diagram in Mermaid?
Download Mermaid source (.mmd) for compatible editors. Save JSON to retain this tool’s mode and preserved guided graph as well.
