Foundry Payments is responsible for the management of payments facilitated via the BitePay application. BitePay was conceived as a cutting-edge digital alternative to the conventional physical card system utilized by university students, offering the convenience of loading and redeeming balances for campus meals. In this context, Essential Designs was commissioned to develop a bespoke web-based Admin Panel and API, catering to the specific needs of Foundry Payments.

Challenge
in response to the diverse payment challenges faced by students on university campuses, there arose a compelling need for a more efficient and consolidated solution. Currently, students encounter various payment methods, often managed by their parents, including meal plans and credit cards. This fragmented approach becomes cumbersome due to the repetitive nature of daily orders from a limited selection of vendors.

The Byte app revolutionizes the payment experience by consolidating meal plans, credit cards, and other payment options into a single, convenient platform, facilitating tap payments through mobile phones. By eliminating the need for cumbersome forms of payment, the app enhances efficiency for both food vendors and students. This unified solution offers seamless and time-saving one-stop shopping for all parties involved, eliminating the need for separate systems and payment methods.
