Foundry Payments manages payments made through the BitePay app. BitePay was designed as a digital replacement for the traditional physical card system used by university students, which allowed a balance to be loaded on the card and redeemed for meals on campus. Essential Designs was tasked with developing a custom web-based Admin Panel and API for Foundry Payments.

The end result is a system where Users can register for Bitepay and add funds to their virtual card, or invite a benefactor to add funds on their behalf. Benefactors can log in, transfer funds to a virtual card, and set auto-reload rules. In the Admin Panel, Foundry can manage the organizations using the system, customize user-facing plans and programs, and generate customizable reports.
