Financial services software development

Make financial work easier to follow from request to resolution.

A customer request can pass through support, operations, field teams and several systems before it is complete. We build software that keeps the work, decisions and next steps clear without forcing every team into the same screen.

For payment providers, fintech teams and financial-service organizations.

The everyday friction

Where work gets harder than it needs to be.

01

A request disappears between teams.

Onboarding, account support and exceptions may move through email, spreadsheets and separate platforms. The team needs one view of what happened and who acts next.

02

Manual checks slow down routine work.

Important reviews still need people, but gathering the same information and chasing missing details should not consume the whole process.

03

Older systems make change difficult.

A useful platform may still carry critical data while becoming harder to update. New customer or staff experiences need a careful connection and changeover plan.

Relevant experience

Real work. A useful starting point.

Essential Designs project

Maxwell Merchant Solutions

Maxwell used an enterprise service platform to dispatch contractors who service point-of-sale terminals. We built a native iOS version of its field application so technicians could view work orders, check in and out of jobs, and manage inventory.

  • Work orders for field technicians
  • Job check-in and check-out
  • Inventory management on iOS

Foundry Payments

Foundry Payments commissioned a web-based administration panel and API for BitePay, a digital campus payment product that lets students load and redeem balances for meals.

  • A web-based administration panel
  • An API for the BitePay product
  • Support for a consolidated campus payment experience

What we can build together

Software shaped around your team's work.

Choose the parts that matter to your business. We will work through the details, existing systems and practical limits with you.

Talk through your priorities ↗
01

Customer and merchant onboarding

Bring applications, supporting information, review steps and status updates into a clear journey. Define what each role can see and who approves an exception.

02

Service and support operations

Route work to the right staff or field team, keep notes and documents with the request, and show what is waiting before a case can close.

03

Approvals and activity history

Plan roles, review points and a traceable record of important actions around your organization’s own security, privacy and regulatory requirements.

04

Platform connections and reporting

Review the APIs, exports and data ownership behind existing payment, customer and reporting systems before deciding what the new software should connect or replace.

A practical first step

Start with what your team needs most.

  1. 1

Follow one request end to end

Choose an onboarding, service or exception case and show how it moves today. Include the information collected, each handoff and the decisions that need a person.

  2. 2

Bring requirements into the first plan

List the people responsible for privacy, security, compliance and operations. Turn their requirements into visible scope, review points and test cases.

  3. 3

    Choose a safe changeover

Decide which system remains the source of truth, how records will move and what staff do if a connection fails. Pilot with a manageable user group before expanding.

A free tool to try

Map the work before you map the screens

Use our free Process Mapper to lay out a request, its review points and its exceptions. Use fictional information; customer or transaction data is not needed.

Before you get started

A few questions you may have.

Can you connect to our payment, CRM or account platform?

We can assess the vendor’s supported interfaces, permissions, test environment and failure behaviour. Feasibility and scope depend on the systems and data involved, so we confirm them during discovery.

How do you approach security and regulatory requirements?

We identify your organization’s requirements, data boundaries, access rules, audit needs and specialist reviewers early. Those inputs shape design and testing. Product-specific compliance decisions remain with your legal, security and regulatory stakeholders.

Do we need to replace our existing platform?

Not necessarily. A first release may add a customer or staff workflow around a system that still performs an important job. We review ownership of each record and the risks of integration or migration before recommending a path.

What should we share in the first conversation?

Bring a fictional or anonymized example of the workflow, the user roles, current systems and the outcome you want. Real account numbers, transaction records and other sensitive customer data are not needed.

Let's talk about your project

Make the next request easier to resolve.

Tell us where work stalls, which systems are involved and who needs a clearer view. We will help define a practical first release and the reviews it needs.
